SUBWAY is a generative montage I have programmed on a computer. The original video was separated into single frames, color graded, and stored in data arrays. I then write a number of algorithms a computer uses to assemble the movie. I can print the final results to a file, or if you like, we can use a computer to generate the move live. The algorithm for SUBWAY can also take motion input from the audience through a sensor, that is it, the movie can be shown as an interactive montage.

Firefly is poetic video inspired by the personality of my friend, a ballet dancer in the past. The video was shot in the open spaces of Marine Park and Floyd Bennett Field in Brooklyn to explore the notion of freedom versus gravity. It features quotes from Haruki Murakami stories.
